Definition of she : that female one who is neither speaker nor hearer.

Through figurative painting, forms identifying as she emerge in my work. In this collection from 2020, through faceless or hidden portrayals she is unrecognizable. As I stood in front of my easel, allowing form to emerge. There is no preconceived notion of who she is. Colors move around the canvas and from a sketch or from my mind she is born. In each incarnation lies the intent to lock in the cognitive mind of the viewer.
