Michele Allen Fulkerson

Painting began for Michele in a small fine arts program right out of high school in beautiful Northern Michigan and has evolved over the years as she has traveled and shifted through life.  Michele holds a BFA in Studio Art with an Art History minor and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southern Oregon University Center for the Arts, and is currently working on her MFA in Painting at Savannah College of Art and Design. With a focus on figurative and landscape painting and photography, Michele’s work is rooted in the rich history of women artists and self-portraiture, and she will be continuing her research in this genre as she pursues her PhD in Visual Studies at IDSVA beginning in 2025.

Michele has shown in galleries internationally, and her work hangs on the walls of high-end resorts and office spaces. Michele resides in Southern Oregon and enjoys spending time on the Oregon coast, where she has a gallery and studio.
